In Scandinavia, Matjes herring is traditionally served on Midsummer's Eve and is an essential dish in any Scandinavian smorgasbord. Delicious with boiled potatoes, sour cream, chopped chives, crisp bread and schnapps.

Fine pickled herrings. Sustainably fished in pristine western Scandinavian seas; barrel fermented for lasting flavour.
Ingredients: spiced herring (Herring (Clupea Harengus), salt, sugar, spices), water, sugar, vinegar, dill, spices, spice extracts, preservative (sodium benzoate) and flavouring.
